Many women facing ovarian cancer benefit from participation in a support group. Survivors meet to share their personal experiences, exchange information, offer emotional support and express feelings and concerns.
The group meets from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the third Wednesday of each month, and each session will feature a speaker who will lead discussion on topics ranging from cancer nutrition and exercise to cancer genetics and psychological well-being during illness.
Sessions are held in Conference Room M on Doyne Avenue between N. 87th and 92nd streets. For details, call 866-680-0505 or visit froedtert.com.
Meetings take place on the fourth Monday of each month at Gilda's Club House. For information please contact Estheir Grinnell @ 414-962-8201 or visit their website at GildasClubSEWI.org
